Well, I couldn’t think of one, not once I saw my gracious and wise friend, Little John Behan‘s, New Year’s Day message this morning on Facebook.

“No fear” – Is that even possible?

Perhaps not. We may not always be able to banish the fear. Yet we can choose to move forward in spite of it.

We can embrace the challenge. We can choose our intention to live with no fear!

As I so often remind my clients (and myself!), to move forward with intention and purposeful living you must let go of the result.

If you don’t, you’ll be plagued with the kind of doubts that often lead to overwhelm, frustration, confusion, unhappiness, and disappointment.

The kind of doubts that keep you stuck. The kind of doubts that feed fear.

So, to live with no fear . . . let go of the result that you might fail.

Failure is irrelevant. It’s movement that counts.

One of my favorite mentors on this topic is Susan Jeffers, author of Feel the Fear … And Do It Anyway. You can read my post about it here.

My prayer for you on this first day of 2013

May you move through 2013 from start to finish with courage, love, commitment to do good and with purposeful intention, to honor your uniqueness, talents and gifts, and with much gratitude . . .
. . . and no fear.

Here is the rest of Little John’s January 1st message:

Good Morning 2013! – Life will always hold many things to be afraid of; always. And knowing this, we do well to ask ourselves what kind of life we choose to lead. One choice makes us ”wasteful and useless in times like these.” The other choice empowers us, and inspires ideas, growth and love. “I won’t be made useless” by fear. We choose courage, instead. NO FEAR THIS YEAR! – A Happy January 1st to you, me Friend! ? LJ — with Talonna Behan and Julie Scholten Vugteveen.

  • Hi Kathy!

I’m here visiting from The UBC. Delighted to see you too are an EFT practitioner! 🙂 I don’t touch on that at all on my blog, one has to pick a nisch!

Wishing you a fabulous Blogging month!
    Stella

    • Nice to meet a fellow EFT practitioner, Stella! I touch on that here … but not so much on my other sites. As you point out, niching, is important. Had to chuckle at your recent post focus on Vitamin B5. I’m a big fan (and requirer) of the B vitamins. Headed over to read your post now!

  • “Let Go of the Result!” Five little words that have not been put altogether in my vocabular until recently. I choose to live with No Fear this Year!!! So glad my boring world came to an end in 2012. I’m looking forward to what 2013 will bring…my life is changing very quickly!

Thanks for sharing this article Kat. Great message!

  • As a columnist, it’s wonderful having the practical and applicable wisdom of 56Vibes as a source to draw from. Humanity is shifting to greater awareness and by recognizing the light in each other, such as that of Kat and 56Vibes.com, we all benefit. You’re an inspiration in more than one way. A million thanks.

    • Thanks for those wonderful words, Chayra. You’ve made me blush…and I don’t do that often. There was a time last year when I was almost ready to throw in the towel, but you reached out to me at just the right moment, with just the right message. I’m so grateful that you did. 🙂

  • Excellent message. I’ve been pushing myself for the last week to do something that I’m burning to do but oh so afraid of. This is a timely message for me.
