More about Brenda
Brenda was an actor before becoming an entrepreneur, who told her story in an acting class in Los Angeles out of a need to heal from something tragic in her life — and to stop hiding. Her father shot and killed her mother and married her aunt.
After sharing the first version of what is now her critically acclaimed full-length one-woman show, My Brooklyn Hamlet, in that top acting class in LA to a 100 person standing ovation — she went back to school to get her master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology and move from being a victim to her story to be empowered by it.
She rewrote her show and found her new ending — how to free yourself by forgiving the unforgivable and has now helped people all over the world heal including, women prisoners, youth-at-risk, domestic violence trainers, and survivors.
She started teaching her 3 step proven forgiveness process through coaching, speaking and workshop facilitation.
In 2014, she created her signature course, How to Create, Promote and Profit with a One-Person Show, followed by Your Story Made Simple (how to heal from and use your story in your marketing for entrepreneurs) and then You on Video Made Simple (for entrepreneurs to get the skills that actors know to create rapport with their audiences while upping their charisma factor).

Your Turn
What’s your experience been like in front of the camera and live streaming? Do you love it … or loathe it? Are you hiding from opportunities or stepping forward and using it to rock your unique path? Whichever way you feel I know from experience there’s always room for improvement. Not just in how you look … but in how you feel … before, during, and after.
Video recordings and live streaming have become essential components for building a success solopreneur business. I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Do you?
So what are you doing to capitalize on this trend? Do you have a video or audio podcast? A YouTube channel? Do you do live streams on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram? Do you record lessons for courses you teach? I’d love to hear about it.
