“You will be a failure, until you impress the subconscious with the conviction you are a success. This is done by making an affirmation which ‘clicks.'”
~ Florence Scovel Shinn
Fast Action Fridays show – Listen to the replay here.

Find out how to create more effective affirmations in this episode. Last week’s guest, Candice Sinai, joined me again this week during the Bonus Q&A segment.

Switching the focus from feelings of prosperity and abundance to dealing with affirmations was a logical topic choice. There are many things we can do to help ourselves feel more abundance and be more prosperous. Using affirmations is one way.

Shinn’s quote speaks to the very essence of what’s wrong with the wording of many affirmations, plus hints at what needs to be tweak to make them more useful.

Uncross those fingers and start rocking your affirmations

fingers crossedUnfortunately, many people struggle with the process of creating and implementing affirmations into their daily routines.

Just stating positive phrases is not what will make affirmations work to your benefit.

The exact words you express must ring true to your subconscious or your efforts and intentions will fall flat.

Find out what’s wrong with the wording of many of the affirmations you may have tried and why they aren’t producing the results you hoped for.

Learn how to easily tweak what you say to make the intent of your affirmations more personal, more powerful, and more productive for you.  Listen to today’s podcast for suggestions and ideas.

It’s time to uncross those fingers. Let your words ring true and start believing again in the power of affirmations.

  • I enjoyed listening to this episode of Fast Action Friday,Kat. As you pointed out, generic affirmations won’t work and if one is sensitive enough, one does feel a resistance. Rephrasing to make the affirmation acceptable to the subconscious mind is a great idea. In my case, I use muscle testing to check for resonance. Thanks for the tips.

    • Delighted that you enjoyed the episode and found the info useful. Using muscle testing is a great idea. I’ve never thought of using it in connection with affirmations. Thank you so much for sharing that wisdom, Vatsala.

  • I’ve been on about this exact thing, it seems like forever. Forward looking affirmation, those starting with I will, I want, I will have, etc., will remain forward looking forever. When I teach the Law of Attraction I come across the same thing. People say, “It doesn’t work form me!” or “I tried but it didn’t work!” when, in fact, it is actually working just fine. It is the participant that is asking for the wrong thing! We are all exactly in life where we choose to be. If you don’t believe that then you just don’t get it. Candice Sinai obviously does.
