Round One: Ask Kat Anything replay

Fast Action Fridays show – Listen to replay here.

Whew! For this week’s show I took a deep breath and put my reputation on the line by deciding to host my first Open Q&A Ask Kat Anything episode.

I worried if anyone would show up

In hindsight, I should have been more worried because for the second week in a row there was a mistake in the info sent to email subscribers. Not only had the phone number been wrong last week (that one I corrected), this week the Pin Code was missing a number. Ay yi yi.

It was another tick on my business whoopsie tally sheet for the roller-coaster week  … that <sigh> raised my total to double digits. Now, I’ve never claimed to be perfect, but really, I’m not often that bad.

Thumbs-up to Social Media

Thankfully, promos posted to social media, particularly Facebook, contained the correct phone and pin and, lo and behold, a record number of eager listeners were live on the line at start time. God bless them for showing up. Truly.

A couple had glitches unmuting themselves to ask a question (yes, quite possibly another whoopsie on my part) yet several questions were asked, plus we tackled a few which had been submitted via email and Facebook. I’ll be writing individual posts in the coming week to cover each of the topics we covered so I can share additional resources that will help you take quick and effective fast action. Always the goal, right? Right!

There’s just one audio link this week merging the main and bonus segments into one. Link is at the top of this post if you missed it.

Here are are questions covered in this episode:

  • What is the new Call-To-Action button now available for Facebook pages, and where to find the option to add it?
  • What can I do to get more people to visit my website and join my email list?
  • How can I host a show of my own? Isn’t it expensive? Plus, I don’t know what software to use … or what to talk about.
  • Is it okay, or even possible for one person to run several businesses or combine different target markets into one business.
  • How do you keep track of leads, prospects, and networking contacts so you can follow-up timely and effectively? My answer included basics of I’ll be sharing in a few 6 Easy Steps to a Foolproof Lead Tracking System.

Yep, we covered a lot of ground in 30 minutes!

“The value I got from being on the call today made my time to be on the line more than worthwhile.” – Stephen B. Henry PhD, business, publishing and WordPress solutions at Wizard’s Place and Our Hutch

“Great call, Kat! I loved the format and am excited about the opportunities it presents for future episodes.” – Renae Whitacre, Magnetic Money Mentor and more at Renae Whitacre.
