Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to shake off the dregs of feeling down, worried, stressed, angry, frustrated, or just plain Bah?

Whatever the underlying cause, negative energies can bring us down despite our best intentions to not let things happening to us or around us get to us.

In the video below I share the simple technique I use to feel lighter, brighter, and more in charge of my physical and emotional well-being. You can follow along to learn the basic technique, then apply it anytime you need a boost. Once learned, you can complete it in just five minutes or less.

It’s simple and easiest enough for anyone of any age to do, from toddlers to great-grannies. And, when it’s not practical to do the physical scan, you can do the technique completely within your mind’s eye. Perfect when driving in traffic or sitting in a stressful (or boring) meeting with others.

I do this scan at least once a day, and have for many years. It’s my go-to relaxation and shake off the negative energy funk mini mediation.



Oh, did I say the M word? Yes, I do consider this a meditation exercise. It’s ideal for those who struggle with more traditional “sit still and empty your mind” forms of meditation.
