What a delight it is to be rocking it with the support and encouragement of so many peers, friends, family, and clients.
Check out the photo of me with two of three fellow award recipients at the 2nd Women in Business awards luncheon. Missing is Brenda Givens, who couldn’t attend this year.
Dara Harris, owner of Fin-ED LLC and Women in Business awards host is doing such incredible work supporting both women and entrepreneurs throughout Michigan, but especially in the Detroit area.
It was such as honor for me to be recognized for “outstanding accomplishments as owner of 56 Vibes Services” at the awards luncheon held at the still beautiful St. Regis Hotel in downtown Detroit, Sept 14th.
The event will be also open to men next year. Dennis D. Sturtz, my husband and professional chef, who is also an instructor at the Baker College’s new Culinary Institute of Michigan in Port Huron, also attended the event (he insisted!) … and even one won of the drawing prizes to the delight of the women attending.
Love that guy. 🙂
So looking forward to the rest of 2013 and 2014. Dara Harris is busy scheduling many workshops throughout Michigan. I’m just one of several featured presenters.
